JOB VACANCY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Trainee Project Assistant (Full Time), to work on the research project entitled “Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Selected Sulphur Based Compounds for Potential use in drug development” for a contractual period of four months.
Qualifications Required:
- A degree in BSc (Hons) Chemistry
Profile
Candidates must have:
- Research and communication skills.
- Synthetic and Analytical skills
- Adequate knowledge in the relevant field of Research.
- Knowledge of spectroscopic Techniques (IR, NMR, GC)
Responsibilities & Duties
- Synthesis and characterization of selected ligands and their metal complexes.
- Biological Screening of the synthesized compounds.
- Report Writing.
- Carry out any other tasks related to the project identified by the investigators.
Remuneration
A monthly all-inclusive allowance of Rs 13,000/-, plus travelling expenses by bus.
Duration of Contract
Appointment will be offered for a contractual period of 4 (four) months. The proposed starting date will be 1st August 2019.
